One of the things that art can do for homelessness is to challenge it, together with the stereotypes and stigma that often accompany it – as if homelessness is not harsh enough. With this probably in mind, charity Depaul UK collaborated with Publicis agency and a bunch of street artists to illustrate the stories of young homeless people in the form of murals around East London. The artworks are also featured onhttp://streetstories.org.uk/ where visitors can buy limited edition prints signed by the artists. Below are the artworks as displayed in Dalston and Shoreditch:
